A privately-held company, Southwestern Floors is a leading supplier of flooring services to multi-family housing developments in the markets where we compete.

Southwestern Floors has a clear understanding that we are not a product-oriented company, but rather a customer-oriented one. The multi-family housing market can find a myriad of companies who will sell them flooring for their assets. The key is to find a company that will not only provide the products you need, but also provide you with complete customer service from start to finish.

In 1991, Southwestern Floors was founded under the mission of creating the most innovative and customer focused flooring provider in the multi-family housing industry. Today, we are proud to say that we employ over 50 full-time staff and 200 installers across 5 cities in 3 states. Southwestern Floors did not become a leader in our industry by mistake. We are constantly investigating new and better ways to give our customers the best product, price and service. The following is just a glimpse of services that Southwestern Floors was the first to provide to our ever-changing industry.

Ever heard of a "back of the napkin deal" that actually worked?
Flash back to May 1991 at a restaurant in Tempe, Arizona. John Bebbling, President & CEO of TDC Interiors, meets Tom Inman, a young entrepeneur with an idea to supply floor covering installations to a market TDC had never explored - apartment communities. A few hours later, Tempe Flooring Covering (TFC) was born on the back of a napkin!
From that informal meeting of two strangers with one common goal, we have grown into a leader of the mult-family housing market because of the support of our wonderful customers. Today, we are over 50 full-time employees and 200 installers strong in 5 location across 3 states in the Southwestern United States.

Headquartered in Tempe, AZ, we've expanded 3 times in Phoenix to support our customers in The Valley of the Sun. TFC also opened branches in Tucson in 1997...Las Vegas in 2001...San Diego in 2003...and Los Angeles in 2006...and the best is yet to come.

On January 1, 2008 Tom Inman purchased the company from John Bebbling in a partner buy-out and Southwestern Floors was born. Back to top of page
